The Little Grey Fergie: Project Complete

the hartcliff farm ferguson at sunset

Back in May we shared the news that a Ferguson TED20 had joined the farm and was heading into restoration. We're pleased to say the project is now finished, and it's come out looking really rather good.

The restoration has been carried out with care and attention to detail, and one of the real highlights has been the sign writing, a traditional skill carried out by a local artist who did a wonderful job, adding a finishing touch that gives it genuine character and feels entirely fitting for a tractor of this age.

This little sunset photo shows the Fergie nestled in the long grass that will soon be cut for hay, which feels like a pretty good place for it to be.

Over the course of the year it will be appearing at various agricultural preservation rallies and shows across Dorset, Somerset and the surrounding counties. If you spot it at a show, do come over and say hello, we'd love to share our little bit of farming history with you.
